LOCAL ARTISTS

' For the week commencing Sunday, February 12, 2YA will broadcast many talented artists from the studios. Pianists in particular will be interested in the appearance of Paul Schramm, the brilliant Viennese musician now resident in Wellington, in a performance .of Beethoven's "Waldstein" Sonata on February 12, while on the following evening Junior Farrell will demonstrate his remarkable ability in a recital of classical compositions. 'Later in the week, to be exact, Thursday, February 16, Nola Pritchard will play Brahms and Debussy, including items from the "Children's Corner Suite." She will be supported on this programme by Claude Tanner, the well-known Wellington 'cellist. His recital will nclude works by Granados and Faure. Earlier on the same evening the Cameo Three present another of their entertaining broadcasts.
