TWO CAUCUSES

POLITICAL DISCUSSIONS

A two-day caucus of Government members opened at Parliament Buildings today. At the luncheon adjournment, the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) said that the whole of the morning had been occupied with a discussion of the Government's scheme for the regulation of overseas trade. This afternoon caucus considered the proposals for industrial expansion within the Dominion.

A caucus of members of the Opposition was also held today, and was expected to finish late this afternoon.
