(Received October 3, 10.40 sun.)

PRAGUE, October 2

The Czech Premier, Dr. Hodza, himself a Slovak, has departed to Slovakia to negotiate a settlement of the differences between the small Slovak autonomous party of Father Hlinka and the main Slovak group. More Slovak representatives will be invited to join the Czech Cabinet.

A Government committee under General Sirovy has been formed to deal with the influx of refugees from the territories the Germans are now occupying.
