"Mr. Savage's motto seems to be: 'Don't do as I do; do as I say,'" said Mr. F. G. Hall-Jones at his meeting in Invercargill. "He brings in the 40----hour week and yet wears himself out working long hours. He deserves a holiday." The subtlety of the remark was not lost on the audience.
