. Conditions were splendid at Manor Park on Saturday for the bogey competitionj and some excellent scores were handed in. S. R. Cochrane created a new record for an individual) competition, and his card, 73 gross, made him 7 up. Another intermediate player, B. L. Woodhouse, was 4 up. Results of Saturday's competitions are as follows: —
Senior. E. Butler, 2 up; intermediate, S. R. Cochrane, 7 up; juniors, S. T. Livingstone, 1- up. The winner of the Harrower Cup this season is C. E. Wynne, whose total for the 72 holes was 271.
An 18-hole stroke competition played in the morning resulted as follows:—Senior, J. Hennessy won on a count back from J. Ogilvie and B. L. Woodhouse. each player scoring 11 net; intermediate, A. S. T, Butler, 67 net; juniors, W. Anderson, 68 net. In the afternoon a fourball bogey resulted in a win for G. H. Douglas and M. Turner, 5 up.
The second round of the veterans' cup was completed over the weekend.
