NATIONAL PARTY'S MESSAGE

The following message was cabled today to Mr. Neville Chamberlain by the Leader of the National Party (the Hon. A. Hamilton):—

"Realising that the respite secured and the final agreement resulting therefrom were a triumph for your statesmanship, we congratulate you as the saviour of peace. Just as the heart and hope of our people were with you in your deliberations in Munich, so they are now with you in expressing the hope that the Four-Power Agreement will be the forerunner of a more general settlement ensuring peace and happiness for all peoples."
