SOCIALISM
"All sorts of bogies are being raised against the Labour Government. We are going to bring about Socialism, and our opponents say it in such a voice that scares people that we are going to do something desperate. You are a Socialist if you believe in mcreasea wages; if you believe in the Social Security Act; if you'believe that the wheels of industry should, be kept turning to employ more people. We are going to do those things, and the more we do them then the more socialistic we will be. The people have favoured Socialism, and so have tne farmers."—Mr. R. McKeen,, Labour candidate for Wellington South, when speaking at Mrs. C. S. Stewart's meeting at Northland last night.
