TO GERMAN PEOPLE
LABOUR'S APPEAL
"RESTRAIN THE GOVERNMENT"
(Received September 28, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, September 27.
The British National Council of Labour has sent a message to the German people urging them to restrain the Government from plunging Europe again into the horrors of wholesale slaughter on issues which are capable of peaceful -adjustment. It is understood that certain steps were taken to ensure the message reaching the German people.
