COURT UPHOLDS APPEAL

DARWIN, This Day.

The Supreme Court upheld the appeal by the Japanese against the arrest by the patrol launch Larrakia of the pearling lugger Tokio Maru last year. Judge Wells awarded £ 1208 damages against the Commonwealth Government and ordered the return of the lugger.
