The golf tournament conducted by the Palmerston North Branch of the New Zealand Law Society concluded yesterday. J. A. Grant (Manawatu) woji the* major event from A. Dougall (Christchurch), 2 and 1. In the semifinals Dougall beat R. T. Peacock (Wellington) and Grant beat W. L. Fitzherbert (Manawatu).
