SPRING FLOWER SHOW
PAEKAKARIKi WOMEN
The Paekakariki Women's Institute held a most successful flower show in St. Peter's Hall recently. Mrs. Tutt, president, opened the show. Beautiful collections. of blooms were exhibited in spite of the bad weather experienced previously. The cooking and household sections were well represented, and the needlework proved that there were very nimble fingers iri the district. A "trading table" was a source of income to the branch, and a stall for returned soldiers' work did good business. Tea was served during the afternoon.
