OBITUARY

MR. W. H. CORNEAL

The death occurred on Thursday a% Wellington of Mr. William Henry Corneal, for 50 years a well-known tobacconist in the city. - .-

Born at Exeter, England,. in 1865, Mr. Corneal, in the early- years of hisj • life, followed the sea.' The same premises are now occupied by Messrs. T. and F. Boffa, Mr. T. Boffa learning his trade under Mr. Corneal and lateu joining him in partnership. In 1904, Mr. Boffa bought out Mr. Corneai's interest' in the partnership- and Mr. Corneal continued on -his own a,ccount in other businesses -.in • Tory _"'- Street, Courtenay Place, * Taranaki .' Street, and Kilbirhie. He retained a keen interest in* his birthplace and had made three voyages back to Eng« ■ .;; land.
