LATE SIR TRUBY KING

VAULT AT MOUNT MELROSE

CONSECRATION SERVICE

The Bishop of Wellington (the Rt. Rev H. St. Barbe Holland) will conduct a service at Mount Melrose on Monday, consecrating the ground near the Karitane Hospital where the vault containing the remains of Sir Truby King stands. The remains of Lady King have been removed fronxPorirua Cemetery to be placed in the vault. Special legislation was obtained to permit of the burial of Sir Truby at Karitane, thus fulfilling a wish expressed by him before his death. The service will include \the reading of the petition to the Bishop, who will then conduct the consecration service.
