T?he Minister of Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) stated today that- arrangems nts were well forward for the commsncement of major construction work in the Whenuapai flying field, the estimnted cost being £56,000. Mr. Jones all so expressed satisfaction with . the pudgress of the construction of. the AJ '£ Force station at Ohakea.
