LONDON1, September 23.

The mob hooted and jeered, but eventually the demonstration died down as a loudspeaker heralded the approach of the deputation. Amid wild cheers the deputation passed through the cordon and handed in to the Foreign Office a resolution which demanded the instant recall of Parliament, the»publieation of the full text of the Anglo-French proposals, and an effective reaflßrmation of unity ■ of purpose between Britain, France, r and Russia to safeguard international democracy and peace. r The Labour Party will hold 200(1 " meetings during the weekend in a^ lightning campaign "against th» shameful sacrifice of Czechoslovakia to Hitler's threat of war."
