SALAMANCA, September 23. ■•- A rebel communique claims that there were tremendous loyalist losses on the Javalambra Range of the Ebro sector, and that the Nationalists achieved all their objectives. The loyalists, during three days' fightings lost 2000 killed and an incalculable number of, prisoners. Much war material was abandoned. ;A French captain was found among the dead. Seven loyalist aeroplanes were shot down.

A Madrid message states that tea persons were killed and twenty-four wounded at Alcoy in the third air raid since September 20. ,-
