PESSIMISM IN ITALY
(Received September 24, 9.10 ajan.) ROME, September 23. Pessimism is the keynote of Italian Press comment. I Sigrior Virginia Gayda writes: "Thej situation is very dangerous, and has become worse in the last twenty-four hours." Government circles fear that Germany will be compelled to take military action.
