KING MESTOR SOLD

AUCKLAND, September 23. King Mestor, first home in the Corunna Hurdles oh the second day of the Wellington Racing Club's Winter Meeting, but subsequently disqualified, was put under the hammer at Taumarunui on Wednesday, being sold for the "princely" sum of three guineas As he is only an eight-year-old the King Lv gelding should have been worth much more as a hack.
