FIRST AID
RED CROSS CLASS
The Wellington Red Cross Society notifies the holding of a class in "First Aid," which will commence at the society's rooms, 61 Dixon Street, on Monday next, at 7 p.m.
An appeal is made to the public to find time to equip themselves with a knowledge of this important subject that all may be ready to render aid of a practical value in saving life and limb should emergency arise. Today with the exposure to accident through fast moving traffic a sound acquaintance with this subject is essential. Trainees securing their certificates can join up with the Red Cross Voluntary Aid Detachment which is an organisation trained ready to meet local or national emergency. A special invitation is extended to all those members of the society who at present hold their certificates to embrace this opportunity to refresh their knowledge.
A lump of sugar in a thermos flask when not in use keeps it sweet.
