N.Z. NURSES ABROAD

The Seatoun branch of the League o£ Mothers held a meeting; recently at the Kiosk, Mrs. Oliver presiding. The thought for the xnonth was, "However happy the year that' has sped—may its joy be excelled in the bright year

ahead."

The speaker was Miss Samson, ot ; the Plunket Society. Her talk was all about her recent trip abroad. She stated that the New Zealand nurses were held in high esteem in England. Mrs. Mack thanked Miss Samson on behalf of the members. The choir gave two items and afternoon tea brought an enjoyable meeting to a close.
