UNIVERSITY NOTES

The University fourth grade team obviously requires a goalkeeper. The forwards in their last game were outstanding and combined properly. Naturally with Hard back in the half-line the combination was better than in the previous match. O'Donnell, the left half, played a very sound game. Under the captainship of Good the University Senior B (2) team regained their form and the general play was more vigorous. The Senior Bl team played a fast game, but missed the services of Kirkham, who was forced to retire early in the game. Mclntosh played a good game, but the halves, after passing the ball to the forwards did not follow up. Topp is still inclined to straggle. The forwards were disorganised and played a patchy game, with the exception of Pitt. It was noticed that Camp is improving and he played a fair game.
