RONGOTAI COLLEGE

PARENTS' ASSOCIATION

The ninth annual meeting of the Rongotai Boys' College Parents' Association was held on Wednesday evening. Mr. A. J. McLennan (president) briefly commented on the activities of the association. He made an appeal for a greater display of interest in the college activities ,by parents. The principal (Mr. F. Martyn Rentier) addressed the parents, his subject being "Education in Relation to Life."

The election of officers resulted as follows:—

President, Mr. A. J. McLennan; vice-presidents, Mrs. Bruce and Messrs. W. Smith and J. C. Morton; hon. secretary, Mr. F. L. Rossiter; committee, Mrs. Ball (ex-officio, as secretary of the ladies' auxiliary), Mesdames Denby, Heron, Brown, Pram-Ambler, Bastings, Rossiter, Wray, and Downes, and Messrs. Brown, Clarke, Young, Gill, Pike, and Ohlsson; auditor, Mr. H. J. Miller.
