RUGBY, July 1
The total amount applied for in tenders for £45,000,000 of Treasury bills was £84,850,000. The average rate per cent, for bills at three months was 10s 5.33 d, against 10s 9.18 d a week ago.
The average rate on July 2, 1937, when the total amount applied for was £72,860,000, was 11s 0.58 d per cent.
BRITISH WAR LOAN.
(British Official Wireless.) (Received July 2, 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 1. The British War Loan, 3i per cent., is quoted at £102 2s 6d.
