RECOUNT OF VOTES

NO MATERIAL CHANGE

The recount of votes cast City Council election was completed ttus morning, and the Returning Officer, Mi. J. Norrie, announced the Anal result as below.' Though, the figures have been changed in practically every case the order of elected councillors is unaltered. Mrs. Probyn failed to obtain the requisite number of votes to be entitled to the refund of the nomination deposit. The final figures are:—
