INCREASED TURNOVER
The weather was brilliantly fine for the second day of the Nelson Jockey Club's Annual Meeting, and there was a particularly good attendance. The track was still on the dead side. During the day the totalisator handled the sum of £7449. This made a total for the meeting of £15,110 ior the sixteen races, as against £11,611 for fourteen races last year.
