SOCIAL CLUB DANCE
INTERNAL AFFAIRS STAFF A very successful evening was held in the Kelburn Kiosk on Thursday, the occasion being the first dance held of the season by the social club of the Department of Internal Affairs. Among the many dancers present weir® Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Heenan, Mr.- and Mrs. J. Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Harper, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Jameson, Mr. and I Mrs. C. A. Furlong, Mr. and Mrs. J. Meech, Mr. arid Mrs. R. J*. Bender, Mr. and Mrs. Wardrop; the Misses D. Anderson, Sapwell, M. -McCulloch, K. Healy; B. Manning, D. Jameson, Quirke, M. .Kelly, Messrs. L. H. Sinclair, G. Sanson, J. Bennett, G. Hedge, F. Newcombe, Mcßae, Parsons, J. W. Mawson, Armstrong, Quirke. Gellatly, and many other members from Government Depart--merits. ' An exhibition dance trio from Miss Dorothy Daniels's studio entertained the company, and an excellent danc* band pltyed modern and old-tim* music. ,
