MEXICAN OIL
NO PURCHASES BY BRITISH
GOVERNMENT

LONDON, April 29,
Replying to a question in the House of Commons, the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, said that no oil from Mexico will be allowed to be included in any Government contract of purchase until a settlement has been reached over the seizure of British property in Mexico.
