RUGBY, April 28.
Asked in the House of Commons whether any representations had been made by the Treasury to France to prevent the further depreciation of the franc, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Sir John Simon, replied: "No, but as provided in the tripartite agreement between the United States, France, and Britain, there is constant contact between the three Governments."
