PIGS, POULTRY, AND PRODUCE.

The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Pamerston North, reports that at their usual weekly sale on Thursday a large entry of pigs came forward. Good porkers and stores were in demand and sold at prices in excess of those realised last week. Weavers, however, were fairly difficult to dispose of and showed a decided weakening tendency. An improvement on all lines of poultry was noticeable, best Black Orpington hens realising up to 7s per pair, and heavy cockerels up to 8s per pair. Fruit and produce remained firm on last week's rates.
