SYDNEY, April 28.
The "Sun" states that D. G. Bradman's request to the Board of Control for another batsman to replace S. Barnes in the Australian cricket team has been refused, but an official announcement is not being made for a day or two. i
Barnes was injured during the team's voyage and is unlikely to be able to play for some time.
