PRICES OF EGGS
Eggs on the Wellington market were quoted at the following wholesale rates today by the Internal Marketing Department:—Supers, 3s 2d a dozen; A grade, 3s; B grade, '2s 10d; pullets, 2s 6d. Supplies are now coming forward a little more freely.
The secretary, N.Z. Newspapers, Ltd., advises that the share transfer book and register of members of that company will be closed from May 4 to 18, inclusive.
