The House of Commons approved an exports clearing agreement with -Italy on assurances being given by the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, Lieutenant-Colonel D. J. Colville, that there was no suggestion of any loan, credit, or other financial assistance to Italy.

A similar agreement with Rumania was approved. "
