WATCH BY BRITAIN

EVENT AT AWKWARD MOMENT

MAY BE GRAVE DISTURBANCES

(Received April 9, 12.15 p.m.)

French provincial opinion, which is strongly influential, definitely supports the Front Populaire, and in the event of any leader of the Right forming a Government, the possibility of grave disturbances throughout France cannot be overlooked.
