SEATOUN PLUNKET SOCIETY
The annual meeting of the Seatoun branch of the Plunket Society was held this week. Mrs. M. Bayldon Ewen welcomed the guests, and expressed her sincere thanks to the committee for their loyal support during the year. Miss Ward spoke encouragingly on the annual report and year's work. The election of officers for the forthcoming year then took place and Mrs. H. Bayldon Ewen was re-elected president, and Mrs. H. McFarlane and Mrs. R. P. Fish, vice-presidents. Mrs. Medhurst was re-elected as secretary and treasurer. The newly-elected committee now comprises Mesdames Bennett, Howie, Taylor, Williams, Perry, Bryant, and Hollings, and the auxiliary committee Mesdames A. Murie and Griffen.
Mrs. J. E. Ramsey sang two songs which gave great pleasure, and Miss Samson gave an entertaining,description of her recent experiences and trip abroad. During supper the mothers were able to meet Miss Samson again land renew acquaintances.
