Mr. and Mrs. Evan Parry, sen., who have been making a three weeks' visit to the Dominion left yesterday by the Rangitata on their return to England. Mrs. A. t>. Carson, Rimu Road, Kelburn, with her daughter, Miss Shir-1 ley Carson, arrived at Wellington this morning by the Maunganui from Australia, after several months' visit to Melbourne and Sydney. Colonel H. C. B. Hopkinson, C.M.G., C.8.E., and the. Hon. Mrs. Hopkinson left by the Rangitata on their return to England. Mrs. L. Bale, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington in order to farewell her son, Mr. R. D. Bale, who is going to England to join the Royal Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Holdsworth, Wellington, left by the Awatea for Sydney, also Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Holdsworth and Miss P. D. Holdsworth. Miss Phyllis Jull, Wellington, will visit Christchurch for the Jull—Fleetwood wedding in Easter week, and will be the guest of Mrs. R. M. Paulsen, Fendalton. Mrs. A. E. Jull and Miss Doris Jull, Waipawa, will also visit Christchurch for the wedding. Mrs. R. E. Tripe, Wellington, was among those who left for overseas by the Rangitata. The Hon. H. H. and Mrs. Ongley left by the Awatea, for Sydney. Miss Clare Junker will leave tomorrow night for a short visit to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Arnold Junker, Invercargill. She will return to Wellington after Easter. Mrs. W. H. Price, Wadestown, was a passenger by the Rangitata yesterday. Miss Margaret Fitzgibbon, Wellington, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. R. J. Grant, New Plymouth. Miss A. ,D. Elworthy, Timaru, left for England by the Rangitata. Miss J. Wilson and Miss N. Wilson, Bulls, are visitors to Wellington, and will leave shortly for a holiday overseas. Dr. and Mrs. Gilray left by the Rangitata for England. The Hon. W. Perry and Mrs. Perry will leave Wellington tomorrow night for Auckland to connect with the Awatea for Sydney, where they will attend the Anzac Day celebrations.,..,: Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Andrew, Khandallah, left yesterday by the Rangitata for London; Mr. and Mrs. Claude Weston, Wellington, will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Weston, Christchurch, for the New Zealand Law Society Conference in Easter week. Miss Joan Barry, Auckland, has joined the teaching - staff of the Wanganui Girls' College. Mrs. and Miss M. Chesney, Lower Hutt, left by the Rangitata for a tour abroad. ; Mrs. R. Scott, Wellington, is spending three weeks in Opotiki as the guest of Mrs. C. W. Fairweather. Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Stuart-Menteath left by the Rangitata for England. Mrs. McDonald and Miss Lexie McDonald, Palmerston North, are visiting Wellington. Mi*, and Mrs. C. V. Birch have left by the Rangitata for a visit to England. Mrs. G. H. Scott, Wellington, who has been the guest in Ashburton of Mrs. David Thomas, is expected to return tomorrow. Mrs. Charles Elgar, Featherston, was among the Rangitata passengers for London. Miss N. D. Didsbury was a passenger by the Rangitata for England. Mrs. Milne, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington and is staying at the Royal Oak Hotel. Mrs. L. Rutherford (Dunedin), N. A. Murray (Auckland), R. W. Marshall (Marton) are guests at the Hotel St. George. Mesdames J. Coleman (HawKe's Bay), R. E. Willgress (Singapore), Misses F. Rogerson (Longburn), H. Coleman (Hawke's Bay), A. Upham (Christchurch) are guests at the Midland Hotel. Among the guests at the Hotel Waterloo are Mesdames W. T. Snellie (Dunedin), L. Reid, S. C. Mcßae (Patea), H. Wilson (Hastings), H. H. Barnett (Napier), T. Armstrong (Dannevirke), G. A. Caro (Melbourne), E. A. Barton (Wanganui), J. Linklater (Palmerston North), Misses T. Gibson (Patea), P. B. Jamieson (Southland), J. Armstrong (Dannevirke), M. H\ Davies (Shrewsbury, England), I. Heally (Auckland). Commander and Mrs. Oban and their son were among the Rangitata passengers leaving for overseas.
