Crushed by a falling stack of Umber this morning, Stephen Kennedy, a labourer employed by the Scott Timber Co., Cable Street, received internal injuries. He was working by the stack, which was not a high one, and the timber slid off on to him. He was removed to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
