STILL PAYING HIS WAY
Although rising 14, the New Zealandbred Prince Paladin, by Paladin from Lovelorn, is still able to pay his way in Western Australia, where he lately won in purse company and has been placed three1 times in succession in open middle-distance handicaps. Not so successful, however, has been the attempt to get another old one in Serbury successfully to stage a comeback. Also rising 14 years of age, Serbury in his day was one of Western Australia's star gallopers. Twice he won the W.A.T.G. Metropolitan, and a State time record for a mile and a quarter, which he created in 1930, still stands. .
