JAPANESE CLAIM
TERRIFIC SLAUGHTER
LONDON, March 29,
The correspondent of "The Times" at Peking says the Japanese claim that they inflicted terrific slaughter on the Chinese in Shantung and Shansi. '
General Li Ying, vice-commander of the partisan army of the Central Government, is reported to" have surrendered Linhsien.
