CHURCH LAW
WORK OF PLENARY COUNCIL
The main work of the Plenary Council of the Roman Catholic Hierarchy of Australia and New Zealand, held recently at Sydney, was to bring the Church law of Australia and New Zealand into harmony with the general law of the Church which was codified in 1918, stated Archbishop O'Shea today, upon his return from Sydney by the Awatca. Archbishop O'Shea said that the codification of 1918 was the first since the sixteenth century.
