WEEKEND ACCIDENTS
When J. Camppell, a farmhand, of Taita, slipped from the running-board of a milk van at 8 a.m. yesterday he received a fracture of a left thigh. The accident occurred at the corner of Cornwall Street and Knight's Road, Lower Hutt.
Knocked down by a motor-car in Vivian Street at 3.25 p.m. on Saturday, W. A. Andrews, a labourer, of 23a Abel Smith Street, received a scalp wound and concussion.
A severe cut on the forehead was received by J. Johnston, a child aged three, when he fell off a fence at 12 Abel Smith Street at 9.20 a.m. yesterday. All were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
