Yesterday a-teams match, captain's v. secretary's, was played on the Pae- - kakarlki links, and resulted in a win for the secretary's team By .7 games to 0, with two games halved. Following are the results, with the captain's teaiv being mentioned first:—A. Murray beat A. ;J aggers, Ij. McDonald beat A. Gollop, J. Warring and P.. Page all square. J. Hanratty' and F. Smith all square, A. Smith lost to N. Ewart, H. Lyncn >beat :P: Wheeler, A: Scotland lost to F. McNeil, H. Higgins beat G. Edwards, A. Robertson lost to R. Hill, G. Copper lost to J. Sigby, H. Hoi ton lost' to J. Smith,. B; Lynch lost-to T. N. Page, J. Manning lost to H. Smith, J. Wilkinson beat H. Hook, and H. Marshall beat 11. Kendall. A Stableford bogey played in conjunction with the match was won by A. Murray, with 36 points. He covered the course in 74. Next cards were-A. Jaggers;34, J. Sigby 33, F.'Marshall .32, H. Lynch' and H. Rendall 31. and R. Hill 30 points. -The finals for the intermediate and. junior championships were played during the "weekend. * In the intermediate J. Hanratty beat F. Smith 4 and 3. In the junior JV Warring beat P. Page 4 and 2. Both matches were evenly contested.' ■ ■ After the morning round the finalists were all square. In the afternoon, however.. Hanratty and Warring ..settled down to v their game better than their opponents and won well.
