At 9.15 o'clock last night a railway bus caught fire in Cuba Street, Lower Hutt. The driver partly subdued the blaze with a fire extinguisher, but the services of the Lower Hutt Fire Brigade had to be requisitioned. Electrical wiring on the cowl of the bus was damaged.
