GALE AT SYDNEY
WIDESPREAD DAMAGE

DROVER FATALLY CRUSIHED

SYDNEY, Thi3; Day.
During a gale yesterday a driver was crushed by a falling tree on fche north coast and killed. ,
People in houses were endangered when the roofs were torn off.
Widespread damage was done.
Five people were maroonjed on the Seal Rocks when a yacht was driven aground and wrecked. Tlasy are living with the lighthouse keeper until it is possible to take them to -the mainland.
Snow fell in the Blues Mountains during a cold snap ,whii(;h followed warm days, resulting in sorious losses of sheep.
■ A number of small craft were wrecked in Sydney Harbour, the shores of which are littered with, timber from capsized lighters.
