NO-CONFIDENCE MOVE
ADDRESS IN REPLY
OPPOSITION MAY ACT
It is almost certain that the Leader of the Opposition (the Hon. Adam Hamilton) will move a no-confidence amendment to the motion on the Address in Keply when it is his turn to speak on Thursday next.
While no official announcement is forthcoming at this stage, it is understood that the Opposition, having viewed the effects of the Government's legislation, will strongly challenge the Government on the grounds that its actions have operated, in the light of experience, to the'economic detriment of the Dominion, and that there is general dissatisfaction at its policy and concern over the position.
All members of the National Party at present in Wellington attended a caucus this morning to discuss the attitude of the Opposition and the general plan of campaign in the House during the session.
