"HARD-UP" EVENING
The ladies.of the Miramai sub-com-mittee of the Plunket Society held a "hard-up" party recently at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Kinsman, Ellesmere Avenue, to help towards the expenses of the Plunket ball. About 45 people took part in games and dancing. Mr. Les Stapp delighted his audience with several songs, and Miss Marjorie Keegan and Mr. Ken Allen were the accompanists. A "hard-up" supper was served in keeping with the occasion.
