MARKET

LONDON, June 17.

The principal English importers and the chairman of the Central Market Committee received the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Mr.' M. J. Savage, Sir William Hunt, and members of the New Zealand Meat Producers' Board at Smithfield.

Mr. Savage said that the 80,000 tons of New Zealand meat handled at Smithfield annually should be doubled lo meet British needs. He was amazed at the vastness of the market.
