•Weights ; for the first day of • the Wellington Winter Meeting are due to appear on Monday week. The name of Zilpah has been claimed for the two-year-old Rabbi—lciogne filly who was accorded an entry for the Hawke's Bay Meeting. Fundy Bay, who had his first race at Hastings yesterday, is a two-year-old gelding by Tidal from the Hunting Song mare Arab Song. Erua, who was sent over to Melbourne last winter, figures among the entrants for the Welter Handicap at Caulfield. tomorrow.
The five yearlings purchased by T. R. George in Melbourne at Easter have been named as follows:—Great Legend (Fernkloof—Cool Courage), Dorak (Doric—Tamarzand), Piastre (Salmagundi—Love Lake), Coronado (Silverburn—Werrington), and Lady Baron, (Baralong—Torquay). The only filly among them is Lady JEJaroa, ._„
