AUCKLAND, This Day Falling under the wheel of a motor-truck after he had ridden his bicycle into a stationary motor-car, John Aislabie, aged 18, of Remuera, was killed instantly. He was riding towards the city about 8.30 this morning in a long line of traffic, and struck a car which had pulled in to the kerb in front of him. Following behind the cyclist was a loaded motor-truck driven by a Chinese market gardener. One wheel passed over the youth's body, causing terrible injuries. Spectators said the accident happened in a few swift seconds, and there was no chance for the driver to prevent it.
