IDLE SHIPYARDS

BIG CONTRACTS HELD UP

NEW YORK, June 16.

Seventeen shipyards are idle, of which five closed as the result of the efforts of the Committee for Industrial Organisation to organise 15,000 shipyard workers. Work on 30,000,000 dollars worth of contracts has been halted. ' ' ■
