LONDON, June 17.

.At a conference called 8y... the Royal Empire Society on development of migration it was decided to communicate with the Dominion Governments setting out the aims and objectives of the conference and to suggest methods'of co-operation. The Lord Mayor of London will open a conference at the Guildhall on October 11 to popularise migration and Empire settlement. Brigadier-General Sir H. Page Croft tabled a motion in the House of Commons, supported by 244 Conservatives, in favour of the early resumption of migration, and urging the Government to invite the Dominions to prepare for it and. itself to indicate readiness to grant credit facilities.
